Gary Bowyer praised his team's commitment to the cause after a battling display against Stevenage secured a 1-0 victory at Bloomfield Road.
A penalty from Mark Cullen was enough to decide the game, with Blackpool becoming the first side to beat the visitors since mid-January.
Speaking post-match, here's what the manager had to say...
Battling qualities on show.
It was a tough game, it was a real battle. They're a good team, they've won eight out of nine, and we know why. I thought our lads stood up to it again and we've done ever so well tonight.
It was two good teams on show, we got our noses in front and hit the bar with a fantastic effort from Jordan Flores. We had to deal with balls being pumped into our box from some throws and free-kicks and they're very good at it. We worked on it a lot yesterday so credit to the players.
In the second-half we had to show different qualities and the commitment to the cause was fantastic from the players. We finished the game with one or two who probably shouldn't have been on there with injuries and what have you, but we'd made our subs due to injuries and they had to just stick in there, which they did.
Another goal for Mark Cullen.
That's three in four now and he's done ever so well leading the line for us as well. He's done that again tonight.
Collective effort in defence with third consecutive clean sheet.
It's a great effort from everybody, people will obviously praise Dean Lyness and the back four but we speak about the whole team effort, attacking and defending, and that was on show again tonight. The pressing we did, first-half especially, was terrific.
Introductions of Neil Danns and Ian Black.
Pottsy and Jordan were just precautionary and the two of them coming on (Danns and Black) with the experience they've got is fantastic. You saw the effect of their experience towards the end of the game, and that helped us over the line.
Seven games unbeaten.
We've spoken all along about trying to have that consistency and we've put runs together, we've just got to back it up with wins now. We've done well tonight but we need to recover and go again.
