Gary Bowyer says a dressing room inquest, in the aftermath of Saturday's defeat to Grimsby Town, highlighted just how much the players care and want to achieve at Blackpool.
The manager, prior to delivering his post-match reaction, overheard the squad debating what went wrong in the game and what needed to improve moving forward.
The raised voices were something he welcomed, with the players determined to bounce back in the right manner against Accrington Stanley tomorrow.
"I've got a little routine where I come into my office first, which is right next to the dressing room, just to compose myself a little bit," the manager explained. "I heard the debate going on and what was really impressive was the passion that they had, and it showed how much they cared. They weren't happy with what they'd delivered.
"I'd have been more concerned if I walked into a dressing room that was very quiet and no one was saying anything. I'd rather have it the way it was on Saturday, it gives you the belief that they really care and they want to try and achieve something.
"We're now going to take this game on and try and put right what we didn't do last Saturday against Grimsby. It's a wonderful opportunity for us to get back to winning ways, but we're aware of the challenge that lies ahead."
Several players within the squad have been successful elsewhere prior to joining Blackpool and amassed numerous first-team appearances, and that experience is set to come to the fore in the five matches remaining this season.
"Experience counts at this stage of the season and it's important that we count on that experience and use that experience to our benefit," Bowyer admitted.
Only Jim McAlister remains sidelined for the Good Friday fixture, which means the manager will have to decide whether to continue with his most recent line-up or make changes.
"There's some tough decisions to make, whether you stick with those ones or stick with the formation. That's all part and parcel of being a manager and you live and die by those decisions," he added.
