Blackpool opened up their pre-season campaign with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Scottish Championship side Dundee United.
Danny Philliskirk claimed two during a productive opening period, the first a penalty, before he curled home a brilliant second via the upright.
Gary Bowyer made a host of changes at the break but The Seasiders continued their good work, with Jamille Matt completing the scoring from close-range.
After a cagey opening half-hour, typical of pre-season, Blackpool found their feet and two quick-fire goals put them in cruise control.
The first came from the penalty spot. The lively Bright Osayi-Samuel was denied by Dundee United stopper Luis Zwick, earning a corner where a tug on Clark Robertson forced the referee to point to the spot.
Philliskirk opened up Blackpool’s account for pre-season, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way from 12 yards.
That goal gave Bowyer’s men tremendous confidence which was reflected in their football, as they quickly set about making it two.
Brilliant pressing from front two Kyle Vassell and Mark Cullen forced an error out of the United defence, leaving it to Philliskirk to curl a brilliant strike into the top corner, via the inside of the post from the corner of the area.
Their lead could have been greater at the break, with Osayi-Samuel causing havoc, forcing two saves out of Zwick, while youngster Macauley Wilson was equally as impressive at right-back.
The Terrors caused few problems to Kyle Letheren and his defence, with a disallowed goal, correctly given for offside, the closest they came.

Wholesale changes at the break saw Bowyer broaden his opinion on the Blackpool squad and they continued in the same vein in the second period.
Brad Potts, who was operating from a wide position, caught the eye for the third goal, picking out Matt in the middle, with the striker making no mistake from close-range.
