While delighted to pick up three big points on Easter Monday, Sam Slocombe is keeping his feet on the ground.
Jordan Flores fired home an injury time penalty to put Blackpool back in the play-offs with just three games remaining.
Cheltenham, Notts County and Leyton Orient remain for Pool and Slocombe is focussed on the task ahead.
“It’s a great three points but that’s all it is, we can’t get too carried away,” he said. “We’ve got three cup finals and the next one is the main one for us.
“We’ve beaten Doncaster twice in the league now, not many teams have done that, but the most important thing for us is to refocus on the next game.”
The Seasiders played against 10 men for 40 minutes and deserved the victory when it finally arrived at the death.
“We’ve ground the first-half out really. They were very good on the ball. Second-half a bit of fortune went our way but I do think it was two yellows.
“We’ve taken advantage and put on a professional performance against ten men because Doncaster didn’t make it easy.
“Credit to Jordan (Flores) for standing up and taking it, and then having the composure to put it away,” he added.
