Six-year-old Deakon Beavers made a welcome return to The Seasiders' training ground this week to present manager Ian Holloway with a gift.
The youngster, from Thornton-Cleveleys, received the VIP treatment last month when a Tangerine Dream Day was arranged for him to meet his favourite players, in conjunction with Make-A-Wish Foundation UK. ®
Deakon, who required a bone marrow transplant and started chemotherapy for three types of Leukemia at just 17-days-old, loved his special time with the squad and wanted to pop back and say thank-you.
Having also been a mascot for the home game against Huddersfield Town, which was his first experience of a live football match, Deakon is now set to be a regular in the crowd after a generous supporter purchased two season tickets for him.
"There are some very, very special people in this world and Deakon's one of them," Ian Holloway said. "I've never seen such a smile and it's a wonderful gesture from an anonymous supporter."
