Alex Baptiste says that the players are looking forward to getting back on the road again for a Boxing Day battle at Huddersfield.
The Seasiders are determined to get back on track following defeat to Wolves on Friday night, although The Terriers have already proved tough opposition this season.
"They're a very good side and it's going to be tough, the defender said. "The games come thick and fast over the Christmas period so hopefully we can create some chances and do well. We've done really well away from home recently.
"Huddersfield played really well on the day against us earlier in the season, to be fair to them. We didn't deserve anything out of that game so we know what we're up against."
The presence of former Blackpool player Keith Southern has added a lot to the Huddersfield midfield and the players can't wait to come up against him again.
"It will be good to see Keith because he's just had a baby and he sent the lads a text to tell them. He was a great servant to this club and the boys love him to bits."
Although not a fan of missing out on Christmas with his family, Baptiste admits that it's something that he's now grown used to.
"On Christmas Day you can't eat a lot and we're also in Christmas morning. It's part and parcel of being a footballer and I've done it for 10 years now so it doesn't phase me," he added.
