New face at Blackpool FC

Former Motherwell and Coventry manager Eric Black has become the latest addition to the Blackpool FC coaching staff.

The Scot will be working two days a week in an advisory role, along with match days, assisting Barry Ferguson.

During his playing career Black represented Aberdeen and Metz, as well as his country.

Ferguson added: "I've got the man that I want in place. He brings loads of experience and unbelievable football knowledge.

"He has worked at Premier League level and The Championship, which is what I want. He is at a good age and is hungry to work with me, so I'm delighted."
