Defender To Stay With Seasiders

Donervon Daniels has extended his loan at Blackpool until 2 January 2015.

The defender, who arrived on a 28-day youth loan from West Bromwich Albion earlier this month, has started in all three of The Seasiders' Championship fixtures so far.

"I've been speaking to Chris (Blackpool's secretary) and West Brom and I've expressed how much I've wanted to be here," he told the official website. "The fans and the lads have welcomed me and I've enjoyed playing on the grass out here. I'm over the moon to extend it.

"Getting game time week in, week out is really important for my development."

That development will continue this weekend when Daniels is expected to line-up against Wigan at The DW Stadium, as Blackpool look for their first points of the season.

"I think we've been unlucky in our previous games, and on Tuesday night I hold my hand up for my lack of concentration and the mistake that I made. I've got all the contention to right my wrongs this Saturday coming and all the games in the future," he added.
