Nathan Delfouneso was delighted with his home debut after scoring twice in the Seasiders 4-1 win over Middlesbrough.
The loanee was given his first start by Ian Holloway after two substitute appearances in the away games at Leicester and Barnsley.
"I couldn't have asked for anything better really, except for my goal to have stood in the second half and to have a hat-trick, but it wasn't meant to be.
"The main thing though was to get the victory and that was what the aim was for today."
It was the first full competitive 90 minutes that Delfouneso has played this year but the 21-year-old said he felt sharp.
"I will probably feel it tomorrow but I enjoyed it. It was great to be out there and great to be playing.
"That's what I'm here for and that's what I'm looking to do and it was just really enjoyable being out there.
"I'm happy to have the opportunity and hopefully I can repay the faith the manager has shown in me."
The young striker will be hoping he can add to his goal tally in the next game and admits the flexibility of Blackpool's front three helps his performance.
"I thought it was nice to play and it was good that the lads could find my runs and I felt we interchanged well.
"I think everyone is willing to fill in for each other and I thought we played some very good football, particularly in the first half.
"It was great to be part of it and hopefully we can continue it for the rest of the season.
"I thought the atmosphere was great. The fans really got behind the boys tonight from start to finish and I was privileged to be part of it," added Delfouneso.
