Nathan Delfouneso believes Blackpool's win against Crystal Palace was vital for The Seasiders.
The Blackpool striker started the game, which saw the Seasiders take all three points from Crystal Palace after playing most of the match with 10 men.
"It's a massive win considering last weekend's results. The boys put in an impressive performance, especially when we were down to 10 men, " the striker said.
"We are glad to get the three points, and are now wanting to push on and finish the season strong."
Although happy with the performance Delfouneso was disappointed not to score. "I was grateful the gaffer gave me the opportunity, and I was happy with my performance but a bit disappointed I didn't get a goal. I came here to play, be the best I can, and improve and push on."
The 22-year-old also praised the fans for "playing a key part" in the win. He commented: "The fans were fantastic and helped us get the win. I couldn't be more thankful to them. They have given me the feel good factor. Hopefully I can keep performing and playing to give them something to chant about."
