Ian Evatt has today re-joined his former club Chesterfield, after spending seven seasons at Blackpool.
The popular defender, whose contract expired at the end of June, joined The Seasiders from QPR, initially on loan, in August 2006 and went on to become a key part of two promotion-winning squads.
Named Blackpool's Player of the Year after a season in the Premier League, Evatt made over 240 appearances in his time at Bloomfield Road and was a big character in the dressing room.
His final season with the club was brought to an abrupt end by injury, with the 31-year-old undergoing knee surgery several months ago.
Blackpool FC would like to thank Ian for his efforts during his time at the club and wish him all the very best for the future.
