Barry Ferguson expects a reaction from his players tomorrow, including the new faces he has drafted in, as his side prepare to face Bournemouth.
The Scot is still smarting from last weekend’s defeat at Watford, and after a strong week on the training ground, has demanded improvements tomorrow.
Having done their research, Blackpool are now set for the task in hard and are vying to end a run of 17 games without a victory.
He said: “I keep saying this every week, we need to win. There is nothing more that I need to say. We’d be daft not to realise what is needed.
“I’ve watched three Bournemouth games and they’re a good team. They work hard and he has them playing football. I like Eddie Howe and the way he sets up his team, so it’s going to be a difficult game."
Ferguson has brought in a host of new players since January, and was honest when questioned about their impact.
“I could be happier, certain ones I’m delighted with, but that’s the way it works. Sometimes it’s a gamble bringing in loan players.
“I took the gamble and I’m happy with some, but others can improve that’s for sure. They know that, I’m not going to shy away from telling them that, so we’ll see how we go in the coming games.”
