A charity football match will take place on Sunday (18 August), in aid of two former Blackpool players.
A veteran Pool side will face a vintage Clarets XI to raise money for Alan Ainscow and Ian Britton, who have both been diagnosed with prostate cancer.
The event has been arranged by the BFC Former Players' Association and the match will take place at Thornton Cleveleys FC, with the facility offered free of charge.
Kick-off is at 2pm and admission is by way of donation. There will be food available on the day, as well as a bouncy castle for any young children that attend.
All money raised will go to Alan and Ian, while a donation will also be made to a prostate cancer charity.
Former players set to appear include Trevor Sinclair, Alan Wright, Tony Ellis, Andy Preece, Phil Clarkson, Eamonn O'Keefe, Mike Davies, Derek Spence, Ben Burgess, Jamie Murphy, John Hills, Micky Mellon, Daid Eyres, Andy Watson and Marvin Bryan.
