Dan Gosling is aiming to get some valuable game time at Blackpool and help the team push up the table.
The 23-year-old signed for the club in a loan deal from Newcastle United on Friday and made an appearance off the bench at Charlton a day later.
The former Everton midfielder featured for 16 minutes at The Valley, and he's now determined to build on that in the coming weeks and months.
"It's the first time I've played in the league since Plymouth. I know what it's about and it's very, very tough," he said. "It's been easy for me to settle in and hopefully we can start picking up three points. I'm really happy to be a Seasider."
The international break will now give him an opportunity to gain a better of understanding of his team-mates and the manager's tactics on the pitch.
"I'm generally quite fit and I've been working hard back at Newcastle, I just haven't had the game time. I'll train for a good week now with Blackpool and look forward to the next game. I just need a lot of games and hopefully this is the platform for me.
"I like to chip in with a few goals but more importantly I hope we can carry on pushing up this league table," he added.
