Elliot Grandin says he's happy to stay at Blackpool and wants to thank the manager for letting him return to France on loan last season.
The 24-year-old spent the second part of the last campaign on loan to Nice, with a return to his native country helping him sort out a few family issues.
Now he's back at Bloomfield Road and is determined to rediscover the form that has made him a popular player with the supporters.
"I would like to tell the fans that I'm happy to work with them again and I hope they will be behind me like they was when I was last here. I would like to thank them and do my best for the club.
"I've always been happy in Blackpool, everything was good when I was there and I had an amazing year in the Premier League. All the fans have been amazing with me and the gaffer has as well. I'm happy to be here now and I will help the club to get back in the Premier League."
The manager's support is something that Grandin values and is now keen to repay with his performances out on the pitch.
"My loan was very nice because I had a lot of things to do with my family and I did it. Now everything is a lot better and I'm happy. I want to say thank-you to the gaffer for letting me go. It wasn't easy because we were planning to go up so I'd like to say thank-you to him."
Yesterday the official website announced that he will now wear the number 10 shirt for The Seasiders, following a personal request for it.
"It's a number that I like, I like to play with the number 10. I had it when I was young during my formation and I'm happy to have it again," he added.
