Paul Ince has heaped praise on his players after being named Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month for August.
The Seasiders' boss, who received his award at Squires Gate this morning, believes that the trophy is a reward for the whole squad following an unbeaten start to the season.
"The reason why I've got this award is because of the players, not because of myself," he said. "If you could split it in 18 pieces then I'd give it to each one of my players because they've been outstanding for me in the first five games.
"As much as I get recognised, I think they all get recognised for the award. It's probably a kiss of death now but you've still got to take it. It's been a great start considering the situations we've had at the club and considering the players we've had to put in different positions. They just take it on board and try to perform to the best they possibly can. They deserve all the credit for this," he added.
With no league fixture this weekend, Blackpool will look to maintain their fantastic start to the campaign when they face Bournemouth next Saturday.
