Having got himself back on the goal scoring trail, Andy Keogh is enjoying life at Blackpool, and is now looking to kick-on in a tangerine shirt.
The Irishman has scored twice in four appearances, with both goals coming at Bloomfield Road, and he is happy to be back on target after a frustrating spell with Millwall.
The striker, who is on loan from The Lions, has doubled his goals tally for the season since arriving in the North West and is enjoying his football in Lancashire.
“I’m looking forward to the rest of the season, and I’ve not really had that feeling in a while, so I’m looking to kick on,” said Keogh.
“It’s been great. I’ve settled in quickly and training has been enjoyable. The lads have been spot on and I’m glad to be back scoring again. I’ve got a spring back in my step, with a change of scenery and a chance to help Blackpool finish the season well; I’m looking forward to it.
“It went a bit stale at Millwall, Ian Holloway had livened the place up, but for me it was nothing to do with that. I wanted to start afresh and get a spring back in my step. I just want to play well and work hard so you get your chance and it’s up to me to take it.”
