Two-Year Extension Agreed with Errea
A two-year contract extension has been agreed with Italian Sportswear provider Errea to continue manufacturing Blackpool FC kit.
The Parma-based company took over the club’s contract from the beginning of the season, with this two-year extension now covering the 2015/16 and 2016/17 campaigns.
Speaking about the deal, Head of Retail Richard Wild said: “Errea have been extremely flexible in providing the club with both bespoke playing kit and training wear, ensuring Blackpool as a brand can continue to utilise its strong, tangerine colour scheme throughout our range. This was something we viewed as essential in deciding who we awarded our contract too and we are delighted to have now concluded negotiations to extend our present deal.”
Errea’s Fabrizio Taddei added “We are absolutely delighted to be able to renew our partnership with Blackpool FC, for another two seasons. It has been a pleasure to work with such a professional and friendly club and we look forward to continuing this partnership until, at least, the 2016/17 season.”
The club will shortly be releasing the black third kit that was designed by supporter Jonathan Westhead. Fan involvement will also be paramount in deciding the new home and away kits for the 2015/16 season.
