Ludovic Sylvestre hopes to test himself against Fulham in Saturday's third round FA Cup tie at Craven Cottage.
The French midfielder, who joined Blackpool during their season in the Premier League, is looking forward to facing top-flight opposition again.
"We all want to play against a Premier League team to see if we can play there. It's going to be a good game and hopefully we can win it," he said. "Here in England the FA Cup is something really famous and every team wants to go far in the competition."
The 28-year-old returned to the Blackpool starting line-up for yesterday's 0-0 draw with Hull, a game that he admits was tough.
"It was difficult. We knew that Hull City are a good side because right now they are second in the league. I think we did well and it's a good point.
"It wasn't easy (on the pitch) and I'm not the only one in the team who likes to pass the ball. We knew that it wouldn't be easy but we tried our best and we performed well."
The fixture at Fulham this weekend will be The Seasiders' fifth game in two weeks and could see the manager make a few changes.
"We know that Christmas time is really hard because we have a lot of games but we have a big squad, and I think that's why the manager is using everybody," Ludo admitted.
"I'm working hard and the manager gave me an opportunity to play. I tried my best and hopefully I can keep playing, if not I'll get ready for another one."
