Winger Withdraws With Toe Injury

Matt Phillips has pulled out of the Scotland squad who face Luxembourg in a friendly on Wednesday due to an injured toe.

The winger will now remain in Blackpool and work with the medical staff in a bid to be fit for this weekend's game with Bristol City.

Elsewhere, Thomas Ince has linked up with Stuart Pearce's England Under 21s who play Northern Ireland Under 21s at Bloomfield Road tomorrow night.

Craig Cathcart is also away as Northern Ireland play Azerbaijan in a FIFA World Cup Qualifier at Windsor Park on Wednesday.

Other absentees include Chris Kettings and Matt Gilks who have joined up with Scotland Under 21s and the Scotland senior side respectively.
