Seasiders Set For First Home Fixture Of Season

Bloomfield Road will play host to Blackpool's first home game of the 2013/14 Sky Bet Championship season tomorrow, with The Seasiders facing Barnsley.

Manager Paul Ince will be without the services of his son Thomas, who starts a two-game ban following an FA misconduct charge. Angel Martinez and Craig Cathcart will both be assessed after picking up knocks, while Matt Phillips (broken arm) and James Caton (hamstring) remain on the sidelines.

Barnsley are unbeaten in their last three visits to Bloomfield Road, winning the most recent one back in February 2-1. The visitors are expected to be without defender Martin Crainie and midfielder Kelvin Etuhu.

Approximately 500 tickets will be available to buy on the day for visiting supporters, which can be purchased from the away ticket booth, next to the away turnstiles, from 1pm.

New Up The Pool On Sale

Blackpool's brand new edition of Up The Pool, the club's matchday magazine, will be on sale around the ground and from the club shop prior to kick-off, priced at just £3.

The season opener features interviews with Thomas Ince, Barry Ferguson, Trevor Sinclair, Luke Steele and Mike Davies, while the likes of Nathan Eccleston and Chris Basham take part in new features. Angel's diary also makes a debut on page seven.

Dig Deep

A bucket collection will be taking place in and around the stadium for Trinity Hospice, so look out for members of staff and the Girls and Ladies football team wearing bright green t-shirts. To find out more about this worthwhile cause please click here.

Half-Time Challenge

The Seasiders will have half-time challenges at every home league match this season, organised by either Ladbrokes or Wonga depending on the fixture.
