Latest Information Ahead Of Boxing Day Fixture

Blackpool will be at home on Boxing Day for the first time in seven years, facing Leeds United on Sky at 5.15pm.

The Seasiders hope to welcome back Gary MacKenzie from a hip problem for the fixture, although Ricardo Fuller faces a late check on a hamstring injury. Angel will be available again following suspension. The likes of Dan Gosling, Tyler Blackett and Nathan Delfouneso could feature in their final fixture at Bloomfield Road prior to loans expiring.

Leeds will be without midfielder Luke Murphy due to suspension so Michael Brown and Michael Tonge are vying for a start.

Manager Views

Paul Ince: "We've been doing things in halves and you have to do the basics right. It's a huge boost to have Gary back. It will make such a difference to our team to have a proper back four."

Brian McDermott: "It is important to just keep picking up points and we have got an opportunity to do that against Blackpool. We'll travel in good numbers. It's Boxing Day and it is always a good time to play football."
