Rod Stewart is coming to Blackpool this summer - playing Bloomfield Road as part of a five-date outdoor tour of the UK.
Following hot on the heels of his 2013 sell-out Live The Life Tour, the football mad rocker will be making his live return in a series of shows in June.
Performing hits old and new, the tour takes in three football stadiums in England - the other two being Stoke City's Britannia Stadium and Brighton's Amex Stadium.
Rod's date in Blackpool on Friday 20 June will mark the 40th anniversary of the last time he played in the town, with his last performance coming with The Faces in December 1974. Having previously played Stoke that very same year, as well as Brighton in 1996, he's looking forward to returning to some familiar places.
"A lot's happened for me both professionally and personally since I last played these locations, and I'm delighted to be coming back," he said. "It's been a long time coming but I'm looking to make my return something people will remember.
"It's also going to be fantastic playing football stadiums and the atmosphere is going to rock!"
The football ground concerts are being presented by concert promoters Cuffe & Taylor
