Club Participates In Trinity's Corporate Competition

The Trinity Hospice Corporate Challenge has been accepted by Blackpool FC, with the club given three months to build up funds from a base of £50.

Chairman Karl Oyston met mascot Hospuss and was handed the £50 yesterday, with The Seasiders now set to start a number of fundraising initiatives.

The challenge started on 1 August and ends on 31 October. Teams will be invited to a celebration and awards event in November, when the Champions will be announced and there will be a chance to meet other Corporate Challengers from a variety of business sectors.

All proceeds will go to Trinity, helping them to provide compassionate care for people from across the Fylde Coast.

Supporters are asked to note that a bucket collection will be taking place in aid of Trinity Hospice at Saturday's game against Barnsley.
