Blackpool head to Bury for a pre-season game this evening, as The Seasiders continue to step up preparations for the new season.
In what will be the club's penultimate friendly - with Newcastle United visiting Bloomfield Road on Sunday - the players will once again look to build up their fitness and match sharpness.
Alex Rae and Steve Thompson will take charge of first-team affairs, with manager Paul Ince currently in Portugal.
A strong side will take to the field at Gigg Lane, which is expected to include Barry Ferguson
after the midfielder returned to training following a back problem.
"He's a voice, he's a moaner and he keeps everybody on their toes," manager Paul Ince said. "We don't demand off each other when he's not playing. When he plays he makes demands of the whole team and they seem to raise their game. That's how important he is to us."
One player who will definitely miss the game, however, is Thomas Ince, with the winger having played consecutive 90 minutes against Witton Albion and York City.
"He's going to have a rest now," the manager confirmed. "He's got a little bit of a tight hamstring anyway and we kind of forget - me more than anyone - that he's only had three weeks off. He'll take three or four days off and recover."
Admission prices for the game, which kicks-off at 7.30pm, are as follows:
- £10 for Adults
- £5 for Concessions
