David Perkins has completed a move to Blackpool from fellow Championship side Barnsley.
The midfielder, 31, has agreed an 18-month deal at Bloomfield Road and will wear the number four shirt.
Formerly with Morecambe, Rochdale and Colchester United, Perkins is thrilled to officially be a Seasider.
"I'm delighted. It's a big club Blackpool and it's absolutely fantastic that I've finally signed. A few of my mates are big Blackpool fans but I've not told them yet so we'll see how that goes down," he told the official website.
"The setup here is good with the new stands and everything, and I've been down to the training ground and the pitches are decent. I'm happy to be here.
"I'm going to bring plenty of enthusiasm and quite a bit of experience now that I'm getting on, but I've not lost my legs or appetite for the game. Hopefully there will be a bit of quality there as well. If I can add a few goals then that would be fantastic."
Ineligible to face Barnsley tomorrow, the midfielder looks set to make his first appearance in tangerine against Doncaster Rovers next weekend.
