A number of iconic Blackpool images now adorn the tunnel walls at Bloomfield Road following a colourful makeover.
Shots from The Seasiders’ recent visits to Wembley, success in the LDV Trophy and the 1953 FA Cup final, as well as a number of player celebrations, can now be found in the corridors leading from the dressing rooms to the pitch.
The project has been brought to fruition by Blackpool-based Links, Signs and Graphics, who installed the images prior to the Crystal Palace game.
“We’re a family run, local business and we're proud of the work we have undertaken," said Shaun Bennett, Managing Director of Links, Signs and Graphics.
"We are big supporters of the club so it was great to receive a call requesting us to work on a special task like this. We’ve installed 20 picture boards and also added a ‘This is Bloomfield Road’ sign above the tunnel doors.
“The area now looks really bright and colourful and highlights some great moments from down the years. We’d like to think that it adds to the whole matchday experience," he added.
