George Wood has rejoined another of his former clubs after accepting a role as goalkeeping coach at Crystal Palace.
The 60-year-old, who has held the same position at Bloomfield Road since August 2011, links up with former Blackpool manager Ian Holloway.
A former Pool player himself, George had been working on the training ground with Matt Gilks, Mark Halstead and Chris Kettings during that period. His work with Gilks helped The Seasiders' number one pick up five Player of the Year awards last season.
Blackpool FC would like to thank George for his work with the first-team and Centre of Excellence and everybody at the club wishes him all the very best for the future.
