Homes Needed For Apprentices

Blackpool Football Club is seeking to recruit accommodation for our young professional football apprentices in the local area.

Potential applicants must be able to provide good quality accommodation in an area which provides easy access to both the Training Ground at Squires Gate and Bloomfield Road. It is essential that the lodgings provide a safe base for apprentices to live during their weekly training schedule.

Residential accommodation must be provided throughout the week during the football season and high quality nutritional breakfast and evening meals must also be provided.

Blackpool Football Club is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all accommodation providers to share this commitment. This role involves work with young people and is subject to Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks.Clearance through The FACRB system is required.

As such this post is exempt for the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and the applicant must disclose all previous convictions including spent convictions. Two written references will also be required. Applicants will, in addition, need to demonstrate that the accommodation meets certain safety standards.

Along with the privilege of housing a young player or players, you will receive a monthly payment as well as playing a major role in their development.
