Sergei Zenjov hopes to make a big impression at Blackpool following his move from Ukranian side FC Karpaty Lviv.
The Estonia international completed the formalities of his move to Bloomfield Road yesterday, signing a one-year deal with an option for a further year.
The forward, who can also play on the wing, is relishing the opportunity of showing what he can do in The Championship.
"I am very happy to sign for Blackpool. It is a club with a long history and I'm looking forward to making a name for myself," he said.
"The stadium is very nice and I have heard a lot about the fans. The team has supportive fans and I hope to be a fans' favourite."
Having spent his career to date playing in Eastern Europe, Zenjov believes the time is right to move to England.
"I have played the majority of my career in the Ukranian league, which is a quite competitive and tough league. I was there six seasons so I am experienced enough to come here and fight for a place in the team and help Blackpool. The coach knows my qualities and will use them in the right way," he added.
