Lifelong Pool supporter Geoff Gilmore was presented with a cheque for £2,000 at the friendly with Wigan Athletic last week after scooping the top prize in Week 28 of the Gold Bond Weekly Draw. Geoff has followed the team through thick and thin but was naturally delighted to receive the money, despite the light-heartened flack he's received from fellow fans.

 

"The fans I sit with have been quick to remind me about the win. I'd had my fair share of leg pulling but it was a pleasant surprise when the money dropped through my letterbox and it's been worth all the mickey taking from so called friends."
