Larry Set For Downing Street

Posted on: Mon 12 May 2008

POOL boss Simon Grayson is due to visit Downing Street today and meet Prime Minister Gordon Brown as part of his work with Show Racism the Red Card.

Larry became a patron of Show Racism the Red Card earlier this season and will be in attendance at Number 10 for the charity's Hall of Fame Awards.

The Hall of Fame honours current and former players who have provided precious time to make the anti-racism campaign a success.

The charity is now in its 12th year and aims to eradicate racism in the game, while also educating young people about the negative effects that racism has on society. The Hall of Fame Awards began in 2004.
