Following the news that the Seasiders proposed trip to Northern Ireland has been cancelled, Pool boss Simon Grayson acted swiftly to fill the void with a trip to Paul Simpson's Shrewsbury.

The tie will see Pool come up against former club captain Michael Jackson and strikers Richard Walker and Grant Holt in what will be one of  Pool's toughest tests of the summer to date.

The game with the Shrews will take place on Friday evening at Shrewsbury's fantastic new stadium with a 7.30pm kick off, admission to the game will be priced at £7 adults, £5 concessions and free to Under-16's.
