Bayliss Set For Loan Move
FIRST YEAR professional Ashton Bayliss is set to become the first youngster to take advantage of the Seasiders link up with Fylde coast neighbours Fleetwood Town.
Bayliss, who signed professional terms in March is expected to sign with the "Cod Army" on loan for a month and is set to link up with Tony Greenwood's men on Thursday evening for training and to complete the necessary paperwork which will allow him to make his Conference North debut on Saturday when Fleetwood entertain Vauxhall Motors at Highbury.
On the move Simon Grayson said, "It is a good opportunity for him to go and play some football, we only have a couple of reserve games in the next couple of weeks and with our squad there was no guarantees he was going to play, we have a good relationship with Tony (Greenwood) and Andy (Pilley) at Fleetwood and they have plenty of fixtures coming up. Ashton needs to be playing regular football, we will see how he develops and as we do with all our loan players we will watch him and see how he does and I am sure he will enjoy and benefit from his time with them."
