BLACKPOOL FC is delighted to announce the signing of Rangers' attacking midfielder Alan Gow on loan until January 1, subject to international clearance.

The Seasiders will also have the option to sign the player permanently for a set fee, already agreed with Rangers, if the player impresses in his time with the club.

The former Airdrie United man becomes the fourteenth player to arrive at Bloomfield Road this summer and will now look to make his mark in the Championship.

The 25-year-old joined the Ibrox outfit from Falkirk in June 2007 after agreeing a pre-contract agreement, following an earlier Rangers bid that was turned down in the January.

Gow is likely to make his debut for the Seasiders against Barnsley when the domestic fixture calendar resumes on September 13.
