Following four consecutive defeats Simon Grayson has acted swiftly ahead of Thursday's 5pm loan deadline to land West Ham United winger KYEL REID on loan until January.

The winger, who celebrated his birthday yesterday, has had similar loan spells with both Barnsley in 2006/7 and Crystal Palace earlier in the year and will go straight into the Seasiders squad for Saturday's trip to Plymouth Argyle.

The South London born wide man, who has represented England at Under 17, 18 and 19 level, has been in and around the Hammers first team squad this season and has made two substitute appearances both in the League Cup.
