Loan Latest

Posted on: Tue 30 Dec 2008

With the transfer window re-opening on New Years Day the official website spoke with Club Secretary Matt Williams and asked him for the latest on those loan players at the club.

Matt, the club have several players on loan at this moment in time, can you give us an indication on who is staying and who is going?
I can confirm that Steven Kabba, Zesh Rehman, Lee Hendrie and Graham Stack have all returned to their parent clubs, we would like to thank them for all the efforts over the last few months and we wish them well in the future.
The club have made an offer to Alan Gow in respect of personal terms, "Gowie" has fully enjoyed his time with us and we would like him to stay, but, the decision rests with the player. We hope to hear from Alan or his representatives in the next couple of days and we will take it from there.

Adam Hammill has returned to Liverpool for the short term, he wanted to speak to the people there and assess the situation here at Bloomfield Road before making any decision, he is a player Tony and Steve have enjoyed working with and I know they would like him to stay longer term. The other two loan players, Kyel Reid and Liam Dickinson are having talks with their parent clubs in respect of extending the loan and we are confident that they will agree to their loan stays being extended for at least another month.

The official website will be the first place with all the latest news on the Seasiders activity in the transfer market.
