The Blackpool first-team squad have all been at the University of Central Lancashire today for their second day of pre-season.

After a team meeting and an afternoon at the De Vere Hotel yesterday, the players made their way to Preston for specialist medical testing.   

The likes of Ben Burgess, Stephen Crainey and David Vaughan have all endured several tests today to calculate where they stand fitness-wise ahead of the new season.

Body weight, Biomechanics, general fitness, Anthropometry and strength exercises have all been on the agenda as new manager Ian Holloway aims to get the players in peak condition for the new campaign.

The official website was on hand to take several photos of the players participating in the bleep test, while Billy Clarke is pictured being tested on his body weight.
