Blackpool manager Ian Holloway has confirmed that Barry Bannan, Neal Eardley and Ishmel Demontagnac will not be involved in the Seasiders squad that travels to Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday night.

The three players, who were all involved at some stage against Leicester City on Saturday, were spotted in a local night spot in the early hours of Sunday morning.

"You can't hide a thing in Blackpool and I'm very very disapointed in them," Ian Holloway told the local press at his Monday morning briefing.

"I've dropped them from squad the squad as I want to send out a message that I won't have that."

"Do they think the time that they got in is acceptable especially when they had training or treatment on Sunday morning? We are professionals and going out in the town after a defeat is not a professional thing to do."
