Blackpool manager Ian Holloway is calling on his side to tighten up defensively in an effort to get back to winning ways.
The Seasiders have been unfortunate in recent games to come away without any points, despite dominating the opposition for large parts. The style of football and attacking prowess has remained consistent but the manager is now looking for the same reliability at the back.
"At the moment we're coming out the odd-goal on the wrong side of things," Holloway admitted. "Some of the football we're playing is terrific, we've just got to tighten up at the back and make sure that we don't concede as many as we are.
"We're two points off the play-offs and we've got a few games to try and turn around. Obviously it would have been nice not to have this game in the build up to Preston - I'm really looking forward to that - but we've got a short trip away to Sheffield Wednesday to put right the defeat we got against them the other week."
That defeat to the Owls has gone down as one of the Seasiders' worst performances of the season and the manager is now looking for a response.
"The lads have got to deal with the fact that they've fallen away a little bit and we've got to fight and keep battling," he said. "That's the most important thing for me.
"I think they got one over on us the other week with how the balance of the game went, and it's down to us to prove that by beating them there."
The Seasiders will be without the likes of Charlie Adam and Brett Ormerod (both suspended) for the trip to Hillsborough, as well as the disciplined trio of Neal Eardley, Barry Bannan and Ishmel Demontagnac. Billy Clarke (knee), Hameur Bouazza (groin) and Danny Coid (hamstring) remain on the sidelines.
