Jimmy Armfield Statue Fund To Stage Summer Ball

Get those dancing shoes out and get ready to party with some of the stars of Strictly Come Dancing as the Jimmy Armfield Statue fund brings you Blackpool's Strictly Summer Ball.

The event will take place on Saturday 10th July at the Hilton Hotel on the promenade in Blackpool.

Joining some of the officials and players from Bloomfield Road will be Rugby League legend Martin Offiah who finished fourth in the very first series of the hit TV show Strictly Come Dancing, the night will be hosted by another former Strictly star, snooker legend Willie Thorne.

The event which is in association with Brian House Children's Hospice will also see a number of other celebrities attend the black tie event as well as professional dancers Andrew Cuerden and Hanna Haarala who shot to fame in series two of the BBC show.

Not only will you get the chance to bid for a dance with one of the stars but you they will also be taking part in a special question and answer session, so this will be your chance to ask what really goes on behind the scenes!


Tickets for the glamorous event are already proving popular and priced at just £99 per couple this is in an excellent way to start the pre-season.


A VIP package is available at £129 per couple as well as the Champagne reception received in the basic package, you will be able to mingle with the celebrities over canapés in a private area and receive priority seating adjacent to the dance floor.
