The Seasiders in all Tangerine got things underway backed by another tremendous away following and after just six minutes CHARLIE ADAM fired the Seasiders into the lead. The Scottish international had tried his luck from inside the Pool half moments earlier, picked up the ball some 35 yards from goal and unleashed an unstoppable effort beyond former England 'keeper Scott Carson for his 14th goal of the season.

West Brom forced the games first corner on 11 minutes after Joe Martin blocked a right wing corner behind, the resulting corner saw an unmarked Steven Reid meet Chris Brunt's cross, but fortunately Keith Southern was on hand to hack clear off the line.
Less than two minutes later West Brom pulled themselves back on level terms when ISHMEL MILLER making his first start of 15 months put the hosts back on level terms, Charlie Adam conceded possession in midfield and Miller burst forward at pace leaving Rob Edwards in his wake, the former Manchester City man finished with ease past Gilks who tried in vain to narrow the angle.
Ishmel Miller saw a shot blocked by Alex Baptiste whilst Charlie Adam fired a free kick in a dangerous area after DJ Campbell was fouled by Chris Brunt.
Despite being pegged back Pool continued to threaten and Neal Eardley tried his luck from distance and his sweetly struck effort forced Carson to save at the second attempt whilst at the other end Gilks deniedMiller.
Matt Gilks denied The Baggies on 27 minutes with a fantastic save, Steve Reid powered a header onto the post from a Jonas Olsson, the ball fell to Ishmel Miller's and Gilks threw a leg to diver the ball away, the ball fell to Steven Reid blazed over from 12 yards.
DJ Campbell had a great chance on the half hour, the striker raced clear of the Albion defence but could only direct his finish wide off the post.
At the other end James Morrison found Miller at the far post with a great cross, fortunately for the Seasiders Miller glanced his header well wide.
