FULL-TIME RESULT: BLACKPOOL 1-2 HIBERNIAN. A draw would probably have been a more fair result although the Seasiders probably edged the game in terms of possession and chances. An entertaining first half was followed by a much quieter second period. More importantly though, a good run out for the lads who are looking sharper as each game goes on. Next up, it's the big kick off in the Barclays Premier League.
86 min: Chance for Jason Euell but he blazes his effort over the bar.
83 min: A few more substitutions for Pool. On come Ash Eastham, Tom, Barkhuizen and Adam Dodd, replacing Neal Eardley, Gary Taylor-Fletcher and Ian Evatt.
78 min: GOAL: BLACKPOOL 1-2 HIBERNIAN: After a bit of scrappy passing, Hibs' Lee Currie is brought down on the edge of the box. Liam Miller steps up for the free-kick and perfectly executes it into the top corner.
72 min: Trialist Alex Tayo enjoys his first chance. After tackling Sol Bamba on the edge of the box, he takes a touch but his effort is saved by Hibs' substitue 'keeper Mark Brown.
66 min: A few
substitutions for Blackpool. Stephen Crainey, Charlie Adam, David Vaughan and Brett Ormerod are replaced by Rob Edwards, Stephen Husband, Danny Coid and trialist Alex Tayo who is playing up front.
65 min: Not as entertaining as the first half, a lot quieter at the minute although the Seasiders are enjoying most of the possesion.
58 min: Pool getting closer now. Stephen Crainey crosses for Taylor-Fletcher who strikes just over the crossbar.
54 min: Taylor-Fletcher crosses for Demontagnac but his shot his blocked on the edge of the six yard box.
52 min: A quick break by Hibs results in Riordan having another strike at goal but it sails comfortably into the grasp of Gilks.
46 min: No changes for the Seasiders at half-time as the action gets underway once again.
HALF-TIME SCORE: BLACKPOOL 1-1 HIBERNIAN: A very entertaining half of football which has seen both sides showing some real attacking flair and creating a fair amount of chances. The Seasiders are certainly looking much sharper, no doubt down to the hard work put in at the training ground.
39 min: Taylor-Fletcher breaks through the middle, finding Ormerod to his right but his shot is wel saved by Graeme Smith.
36 min: All go here. Alex Baptiste making a nuisance himself at the other end, striking the bar will a well struck shot.
34 min: A fine double save by Matt Gilks. Adam brings down Liam Miller on the edge of the box. Up steps that man Riordan again whose shot is well saved by the 'keeper. The ball falls only as far as Derek Wetherspoon who drills in from a tight angle but Gilks is equal to that one too.
32 min: GOAL: BLACKPOOL 1-1 HIBERNIAN: Back level here at Bloomfield Road. Hibs have been pushing for the last few minutes and Riordan heads in from 10 yards out.
26 min: Former Sunderland man Anthony Stokes bursts down the left wing, crossing to Riordan but his flick towards goal is blocked by Alex Baptiste before being cleared away.
21 min: Demontagnac brought down on the edge of the box after some another nice passive move. Adam's curling free-kick rattles the crossbar. There is only one team in this game at the moment.
15 min: Pool really asking some questions now. Taylor-Fletcher plays through Brett Ormerod whose shot is cleared off the line by Chris Hogg. Only as far as Adam though who strikes just wide.
8 min: GOAL: BLACKPOOL 1-0 HIBERNIAN: Some nice football from Pool sees the opener. Jason Euell fires home after some nice work involving Gary Taylor-Fletcher, Ishmel Demontagnac and Brett Ormerod - a very well worked goal.
4 min: First chance for the Seasiders. Jason Euell tripped on the edge of the box. Up steps Charlie Adam for the resulting free-kick which is drilled into the wall.
1 min: Phil Dowd gets us underway here. Hibs kick off with a strong and noisy away following. The first chance of the game falls to Derek Riordan whose attempted lob over Matt Gilks just drifts past the post.
Ollie has opted for a strong starting eleven to face SPL opponents Hibernian at Bloomfield Road today. Youngsters Adam Dodd and Tom Barkhuizen are named on the bench alongside trialist Alex Tayo.
