Craig Cathcart, Ludovic Sylvestre, Elliot Grandin and Malaury Martin have today agreed deals to play for Blackpool in the Barclays Premier League.
The quartet become Ian Holloway's first arrivals of the summer and will bolster the manager's options ahead of the season opener at Wigan Athletic on Saturday.
Cathcart, 21, joins the Seasiders for an undisclosed fee from Manchester United and is predominantly a centre-half. The Belfast-born defender, who is Northern Ireland U-21 international, has agreed a three-year deal with the option of a further year. He has previously enjoyed successful loan spells at Plymouth Argyle and Watford in recent seasons.

Sylvestre, 26, arrives from Czech side Mlada Boleslav for an undisclosed fee and will provide good competition in the middle of the park. The former Barcelona and Barcelona B player, who has also played for Sparta Prague, has signed a two-year deal with an option for a further year.

Grandin is a 22-year-old French winger signed from Bulgarian outfit CSKA Sofia. He has previous top-flight experience from his days in Ligue 1 playing for Olympique Marseille and has also agreed an initial two-year deal with an option for a further year.

Malaury, 21, has been capped by France at various youth levels and joins the club on a free transfer from AS Monaco. The midfielder has been on trial at Bloomfield Road for the past month and has signed a one-year deal.
The official website will have more on this breaking news a little later.
