Blackpool are delighted to announce that Chris Basham has today agreed a move to Bloomfield Road for an undisclosed fee from Bolton Wanderers.

The 22-year-old midfielder has signed a three-year deal, with an option for a further year, and will go straight into contention for the Seasiders' opening Barclays Premier League fixture at Wigan tomorrow.

Basham, who will the number 17 shirt, becomes the sixth player to join this week following the arrivals of Craig Cathcart, Marlon Harewood and French trio Elliot Grandin, Malaury Martin and Ludovic Sylvestre.
