Blackpool v Fulham preview

Blackpool take on Fulham tomorrow afternoon in the Tangerine's first home game of the season.

A new record all-seated attendance is expected as fans take advantage of the newly built East Stand, adding a further 5070 seats to the capacity.

The Seasiders face a Fulham side buoyed by their 2-2 draw with Manchester United last weekend and the 6-0 thrashing of Port Vale midweek.

Team News

Striker Marlon Harewood is unlikely to play a part after suffering a slight hamstring tear in training. But one positive is the return of Ian Evatt after the defender sat out the midweek defeat to MK Dons through suspension.

Fulham will be without long-term absentees Andrew Johnson (knee) and Philippe Senderos (Achilles) while Mark Schwarzer misses out

New signing Rafik Halliche could play a part after signing from Benfica earlier this week.

Last time out

Fulham 4-0 Blackpool

The two sides last met in 1999 when the pair played their football in League One.The Seasiders will be hoping for a different outcome tomorrow afternoon.

One to watch

Bobby Zamora

The England striker is in the form of his life on the back of scoring 19 goals last season and bagged twice in the midweek win over Port Vale.

Armed with pace, strength and a sweet left foot, Zamora was included in the England squad for the friendly against Hungary earlier this month and looks set to become a firm fixture in the national side.

Manager's comments

"I've got the utmost respect for Mark Hughes and Roy Hodgson left behind a lot of quality in that squad. I thought they were absolutely excellent against Manchester United, particularly in the second-half, and did really well by winning 6-0 in the week."
