The former Crewe winger made his return to England with a move to the Seasiders in August 2008 for £200,000 from Real Sociedad.
Vaughan originally followed ex-Fulham boss Chris Coleman to the Spanish club after the current Coventry manager became coach of the club. After one season out there, Vaughan returned to the Championship and quickly made his mark on the first-team. He was predominantly been utilised on the left of midfield but has shone playing in a midfield three with Keith Southern and Charlie Adam since Ian Holloway arrived. The Welsh international had arguably his best season in Blackpool colours last term and earned plenty of praise on numerous occasions.
