One of the Seasiders' best buys in recent seasons, Alex Baptiste has proven that there are plenty of talented footballers in the lower leagues just waiting to be given a chance to shine.
Relegated with Mansfield from League Two, the 25-year-old capped off an incredible rise through the divisions with 21 Premier League appearances last season - despite a lengthy absence with a knee injury.
With a full pre-season under his belt, Baptiste has started the new Championship season in fine form, operating at right-back and displaying his versatility once again.
