A versatile player, Chris Basham arrived at the club in the summer of 2010 on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee from Bolton.
The 23-year-old enjoyed loan spells at Stafford Rangers and Rochdale before breaking into the first team at Bolton, scoring his first goal against Chelsea in April 2009.
Comfortable in defence and midfield, Basham provides much needed depth in both departments.
Having broke his leg in his first full season at Bloomfield Road, Basham will be looking to kick-start his career in tangerine this season.
