A product of Liverpool's youth academy, the 20-year-old moved to Bloomfield Road over the summer after finding opportunities at Anfield restricted.
Bruna can operate in a number of attacking positions but is most at home in an attacking midfield role.
He impressed in several pre-season outings and made his competitive Blackpool debut in the Carling Cup defeat to Sheffield Wednesday in August 2011.
